Pike County lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sadie Lewis, who scored five points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Kerrah Foster, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Peach County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.33 points. As for Pike County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.
Peach County will head out on the road to square off against Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while Peach County is ranked 171st). Pike County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jasper County at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th.
