The Ragsdale Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Northwest Guilford 64-28. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ragsdale in their matchups with Northwest Guilford: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brooke Parker, who scored 12 points. Ja'mya Boddie was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Ragsdale has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Northwest Guilford, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Western Guilford the next time they take the court. Ragsdale will head out to face Western Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Northwest Guilford will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
