Fairfield will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Springfield at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Fairfield had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Centerville last Friday as they made off with a 49-21 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Fairfield had established a 42-21 advantage.
Meanwhile, Springfield took care of business in their home opener. They snuck past Lancaster with a 20-14 victory.
Their wins bumped Springfield to 1-0 and Fairfield to 1-0. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Watch the game and check back in with MaxPreps for details.
