Taytum Sola paced Fuquay - Varina's offense, picking up 12 kills. Sola got some help from Ivy Smith and her 17 assists. Brynn Ransdell controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Garner can attribute much of their success to Haley Heath, who had 17 assists and four digs. Those 17 assists gave Heath a new career-high. Alexia Von Roznowski also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
Fuquay - Varina's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8. As for Garner, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.
