There's no place like home for Rector, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Everything went their way against the Marmaduke Greyhounds on Monday as they made off with a 14-1 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Rector's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Marmaduke, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rector is set to face off against their familiar foe Riverside at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Marmaduke will square off against rival Cross County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
