The West Shore Wildcats lost against the Edgewood Red Wolves back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. West Shore was dealt a 60-22 loss at the hands of Edgewood. West Shore has struggled against Edgewood recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Alaina Preble continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Edgewood, scoring 31 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Those 31 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Shelby Preble, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
West Shore's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Edgewood, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Shore will take on Harmony at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edgewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Melbourne Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
