Meanwhile, Lowell had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past Morgan Township with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 47-33.
Lowell got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ezra Elenbaum out in front who scored ten points along with two steals. Ryan Grskovich was another key player, earning nine points in addition to six rebounds.
Lowell was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Morgan Township only posted six.
Wheeler suffered a grim 56-33 defeat to Lowell in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Wheeler was down 37-17.
