The Stevenson Pirates won the last time they faced the North Monterey County Condors, and things went their way on Thursday too. Stevenson came out on top against the Condors by a score of 46-39. The win made it back-to-back wins for Stevenson.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stevenson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cooper Olin, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tate Toole, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Stevenson's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12. As for North Monterey County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Stevenson will head out on the road to take on the Mariners at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Marina knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 games -- so hopefully the Pirates like a good challenge. As for North Monterey County, they will be playing at home against the Breakers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pacific Grove will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
