Payton Thompson Goes Supernova in Monmouth-Roseville Victory
Monmouth-Roseville picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Payton Thompson. Hall/Putnam County had no answer to Thompson as he rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Thompson's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
Monmouth-Roseville pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Thompson and Monmouth-Roseville will square off against Rockridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Etheridge Made His Presence Known in Princeton's 57-14 Win
Princeton found a leader in Casey Etheridge as the squad took down Mendota on Friday. Nobody could stop Etheridge as he rushed for 171 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Mendota had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Etheridge it was a similar story. When Etheridge last faced the Trojans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

Nicholas Huston's big game helped extend Monmouth-Roseville's winning streak to seven on Friday. Huston was unstoppable, making six total tackles (3.0 for loss).
