The Parsons Christian Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Harvest Community on the road  and fell  76-46. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Parsons Christian Academy in their matchups with Harvest Community: they've now lost five in a row.
 Despite the  loss, Parsons Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up:  Solomon Vickers  scored 19 points. That's the first time this season that  Vickers  scored 15 or more  points. Another player making a difference was  Colin Walker, who  scored eight points.
 Harvest Community's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Adrian Walker, who  scored 14 points along with nine  rebounds and six  steals. Walker is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Adam Lawson, who  scored nine points along with ten  rebounds and six  assists.
 Parsons Christian Academy bumped their record down to 2-7 with that  defeat, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Harvest Community, their win  ended a three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-10.
 Parsons Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Covenant School of Jacksonville at 6:45  p.m.  on January 18th. As for Harvest Community, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Impact Christian Academy at 7:30  p.m.  on January 16th. Impact Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Harvest Community in Florida (Impact Christian Academy is ranked 251st, while Harvest Community is ranked 534th).
