Westfield extended the longest winning streak in AAA Concorde this week by beating Chantilly, 24-21. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Oakton took down Herndon 55-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
6-foot-2 quarterback Scott Walter of Centreville is the league leader in passing yards this season with 432. He has also thrown five touchdowns. On the ground, the Cougars' Kyle Downer has rushed for 521 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Kelly Brooks-muse. The Oakton star has nine catches for 143 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Oakton and the Chargers. Jason Rowley's team comes into the matchup ranked 16th in the state, while Chantilly ranks 24th.
The Cougars led AAA Concorde in scoring this week after putting up 55 points on the Hornets.
