South Broward came into this matchup off a tough 19-run defeat on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Flanagan by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rocco Villella was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. He also tossed two walks, which is notable because South Broward is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 2-6-1 otherwise.
On the hitting side, South Broward saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keniel Marrero, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Chaminade-Madonna entered their tilt with Somerset Academy on Tuesday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They skirted past the Panthers 4-2.
Spencer Krasner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up eight Ks. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).
Chaminade-Madonna pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for South Broward, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. South Broward has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Chaminade-Madonna struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
