The Culver Community Cavaliers fell victim to the Triton Trojans''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 56-0 loss at the hands of the Trojans. Culver Community's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-10. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 11-0 Knox and 7-4 North Judson-San Pierre (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 72.7% over those games). As for Triton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Culver Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Triton will be playing in front of their home fans against North Judson-San Pierre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Judson-San Pierre is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
