Akron came up short on Tuesday despite Mikenna Weers delivering her best game to date. Weers dropped a season-high 11 points in Akron's 47-43 loss.
Weers and Akron will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hi-Plains at 4:00 p.m. Akron is 3-0 against Hi-Plains going back to February of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
