Temecula Prep kept a clean sheet against California Military Institute on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the California Military Institute Rough Riders. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of James Brown, who's now up to five this season.

Temecula Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those seven contests. As for California Military Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Temecula Prep will square off against California Lutheran at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. Temecula Prep is facing California Lutheran at the right time seeing as California Lutheran is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for California Military Institute, they will challenge Santa Rosa Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 15th.
