The Fort Bend Bush Broncos will head out on the road to face off against the Fort Bend Clements Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Bend Bush is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, Fort Bend Bush didn't have too much trouble with Fort Bend Elkins at home as they won 29-10.
Meanwhile, Fort Bend Clements fell victim to Ridge Point's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 63-0 loss at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Fort Bend Clements can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 545th, while Ridge Point is ranked 44th).
Fort Bend Bush's victory bumped their season record to 1-6 while Fort Bend Clements' defeat dropped theirs to 2-5.
Fort Bend Bush came up short against Fort Bend Clements in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, falling 17-7. Can Fort Bend Bush avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
