If the Ridgevue Warhawks were riding high off their 69-24 takedown of the Caldwell Cougars last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Ridgevue fell 69-57 to Bishop Kelly on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
When it comes to explaining why Ridgevue lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tucker Tiddens. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Randall, who scored ten points.
Ridgevue bumped their record down to 7-6 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Bishop Kelly, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgevue will take on Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Columbia will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Ridgevue is ranked 32nd). As for Bishop Kelly, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Skyview at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
