Chippewa Valley had already won five in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the St. Clair Saints. That's more bragging rights for the Big Reds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chippewa Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. Clair, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

After both having extra time off, Chippewa Valley and L'Anse Creuse will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Clair, they will venture away from home to challenge Lakeview at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
