Clear Lake won the last time they faced Tomball Memorial and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 4-3.

Clear Lake's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tomball Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.
