Bethel Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Cherish Carson and Maggie Shelton. Carson dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Shelton scored six points along with eight rebounds. Carson is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Temple Baptist's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.
