Thompson took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They blew past the Carver Montgomery Wolverines 37-6. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on six straight dating back to last season.
Trent Seaborn was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 288 yards and three TDs, and also punched in one rushing score. A healthy portion of Seaborn's aerial production (115 yards to be exact) went to Pryce Lewis.
Thompson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Eli King and Damonte Tabb.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thompson will venture away from home to challenge Grayson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carver Montgomery, they will head out to face off against Percy Julian at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
