The Fisher Gators gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They breezed by Lutheran at home to the tune of 48-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fisher also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Fisher found their leader in underclassman Tyler Mike, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Phillips, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Fisher's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Lutheran, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fisher will take on Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lutheran, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Christ Episcopal School at 5:00 p.m.
