The United Faith Christian Academy Falcons stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Veritas Christian Academy 81-48 on the road. Winning may never get old, but United Faith Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
United Faith Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Brown, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. Another player making a difference was DJ Boyce Jr., who scored 18 points along with two steals.
United Faith Christian Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-6. As for Veritas Christian Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5.
United Faith Christian Academy will take on Lake Norman Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Norman Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 468th, while United Faith Christian Academy is ranked 21st). As for Veritas Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Bethel Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
