The Reeds Spring Wolves can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They took down Southern Missouri RUSH 45-28. The victory was just what Reeds Spring needed coming off of a 47-21 loss in their prior match.
Southern Missouri RUSH's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Addie Sims, who scored ten points, and Hannah Gibbons who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That was a full 46.4% of Southern Missouri RUSH's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Reeds Spring's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Southern Missouri RUSH, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.
Reeds Spring will head out on the road to face off against Hollister at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Southern Missouri RUSH won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hurley at 6:15 p.m. on January 19th. Hurley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while Southern Missouri RUSH is ranked 117th).
