The Brush Beetdiggers will face off against the Delta Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Brush sitting on nine straight victories and Delta on three.
Last Thursday, Brush got the win against The Academy by a conclusive 35-12. The Beetdiggers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 22 points or more this season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jolani Thomas and Dylan Krob. Thomas rushed for 164 yards and three scores while picking up 10.3 yards per carry while Krob rushed for 122 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Thomas a new career-high.
Brush was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 421 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 243 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Brush's defense made their presence known, laying out Heath Allen three times. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Thomas and Krob, who each picked up 0.5 sacks apiece.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Delta on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Coal Ridge out of the water with a 34-0 final score. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly 34 points.
Brush better keep an eye on Jhett Ryan. He was instrumental in Delta's win, rushing for 150 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. Ryan also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending one pass. MACK Lockhart helped out on the ground, rushing for 102 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Delta didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Damitry Tatman and SCOTT Floyd.
Brush's record is now 9-0. As for Delta, their record now sits at 7-2.
Saturday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Brush has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 341.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Delta struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 203.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
