Lincoln waltzed into their match on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They put the hurt on the Spearfish Spartans with a sharp 14-0 victory. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Spearfish, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season.

Lincoln will square off against Roosevelt on the 5th. Spearfish does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
