In what's become a running theme this season, the Arrowhead Warhawks gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 73-26 victory over North/Waukesha South at home. Winning may never get old, but Arrowhead sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Arrowhead was led to victory by Libby Gilmore and Natlie Kussow. Gilmore scored 23 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Kussow scored 25 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gilmore has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Sidney Zehner, who scored nine points.
Arrowhead's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for North/Waukesha South, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Arrowhead won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mukwonago at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Mukwonago will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Arrowhead is ranked first). North/Waukesha South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
