North Fork entered their tilt with Center on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 19-5 margin over the Vikings. 19 seems to be a good number for the Miners as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Bronson Hall made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Tiago Alves and Joe Hollembeak did most of the damage at the plate: Alves went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Hollembeak got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave Alves a new career-high. Colin McMahon was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

North Fork always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Center only posted an OBP of .381.

North Fork's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Center, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Fork will challenge Montezuma-Cortez at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Panthers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Center, they will face off against Trinidad at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Miners have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.17 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
