It was another big night for Korie Kirkwood, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The game was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Lauren Brown was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Doniphan West beat Troy 45-39 on Tuesday. 45 seems to be a good number for Doniphan West as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Valley Falls' win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1. As for Doniphan West, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
