They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lakeside School 72-31 at home. Springwood might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matches by 22 points or more this season.
Springwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Micah Thomas, who scored 23 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. The match was Thomas' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Johnson, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Springwood's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lakeside School, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Springwood will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lakeside School, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Lee-Scott Academy at 7:00 p.m. Lee-Scott Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
