Mason Jr. is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Brown, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Bard lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaemon McNeil, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that McNeil grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was Andre Wright, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Ron Brown's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Bard, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
Ron Brown will be playing in front of their home fans against Anacostia at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Anacostia is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Bard, they will head out on the road to take on Jackson-Reed at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jackson-Reed presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bard in District of Columbia (Jackson-Reed is ranked second, while Bard is ranked 34th).
