The Intrinsic Mustangs will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Disney II Titans at 5:00 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Intrinsic was handed a three-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Alcott on Thursday. Intrinsic blew past Alcott 45-18 on the road. That 27 points margin sets a new team best for Intrinsic this season.
Intrinsic got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was America Escalera out in front who scored 17 points. Dezanique Riley was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Disney II beat Wells 36-30 on Thursday. The victory was just what Disney II needed coming off of a 48-5 loss in their prior contest.
Intrinsic is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Disney II, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6.
