Cypress Creek waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. Everything went their way against Celebration as Cypress Creek made off with a 58-36 win. With Cypress Creek ahead 36-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Ethan Nolan was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 15 points along with two steals. Elijah Torres was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Osceola suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. Their tough 113-89 loss to Oak Ridge might stick with them for a while. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Friday (58), Osceola still had to take the loss.
Cypress Creek has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Osceola, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
Cypress Creek skirted past Osceola 47-44 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Will Cypress Creek repeat their success, or does Osceola have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
