Even though the Buena Park Coyotes scored an imposing 59 points on Saturday, the Santa Ana Saints still came out on top. Santa Ana took their game against Buena Park 69-59. Winning may never get old, but Santa Ana sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Jack Rivera continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Issac Alvarez, who scored 11 points.
Santa Ana's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Buena Park, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
Santa Ana will head out on the road to face off against Estancia at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Estancia is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Buena Park will take on Sonora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sonora will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
