Jaxon Carlson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Sedgwick County was led to victory by Jaxon Carlson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Carlson rushed for 310 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 75 yards and two touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (104.2) per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards.
Unfortunately for Dayspring Christian Academy, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Carlson. Carlson rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 130 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

Grant Statz was instrumental in extending Haxtun's winning streak to five on Friday. Statz turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 128 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries.
Haxtun pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Statz and Haxtun will challenge Akron at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
