Baseball Game Preview: Bellingham Blackhawks vs. Millis Mohawks

Bellingham has gone 8-2 against Millis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Sunday. The Blackhawks will challenge the Mohawks at 11:00 a.m. Bellingham will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Bellingham managed to slip by Holliston the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blackhawks lost 19-6 to the Panthers on Saturday.

Eric Johnston was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Doug Walton, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base and one double.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Millis' offense. They fell 5-0 to Medway on Wednesday. The Mohawks have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Millis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Barrett, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Millis' record now sits at 4-13. As for Bellingham, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Bellingham suffered a grim 9-2 defeat to Millis when the teams last played on Sunday. Can the Blackhawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
