The North Mason Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell to Evergreen 61-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Andrew Littrean and Hunter Brown certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Littrean scored 21 points along with seven rebounds, while Brown scored nine points along with 16 rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Derek Dunham was another key contributor, scoring five points along with nine rebounds.
North Mason's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Evergreen, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Mason will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sequim at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Evergreen will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Highline at 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
