After flying high against New Milford  last Friday, Norwalk came back down to earth. The Bears came up short against  the Ridgefield Tigers on Saturday, falling  31-7. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
 Easton Pace threw for 107 yards  on nine of 19 attempts.   Kevin Gordon was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards.
 Ridgefield's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Christopher Colsey, who picked up 240 receiving yards and three  touchdowns. With that strong performance,  Colsey is now averaging an impressive 110.5  receiving yards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Henry Neligan, who threw for 263 yards and three  TDs on only 15 passes.
Norwalk's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Ridgefield,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-1.
 Norwalk and Ridgefield will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bears are set to  square off against  their familiar foe Ludlowe  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Ridgefield will  face off against  rival St. Joseph  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
