Unity Christian found their leader in underclassman Maddy Wilbur, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wilbur has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Julia Van Kampen, who scored 12 points.
East Moline Christian dropped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Unity Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
East Moline Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Faith Christian is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Unity Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Quad Cities Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Quad Cities Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
