The Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers pushed their score all the way to 69 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Trinity 75-69. Steelton-Highspire has struggled against Trinity recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Owen Schlager was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds for Trinity. Schlager hasn't dropped below 15points for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Balaban, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Steelton-Highspire now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Trinity, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Steelton-Highspire will face off against Berlin Brothersvalley at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. One thing working in Berlin Brothersvalley's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Trinity won't have much time to rest: their next match is against New Town at 11:30 a.m. on January 13th. New Town is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
