Glasgow extended their losing streak  to eight  on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 8-20-1 in the process. They were two  runs away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Campbellsville Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  loss the Scotties have suffered  since March 17th.

  Hudson Gumm made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  run. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Steven Garrett, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs.
As for Campbellsville, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 21-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win they have posted  since April 15th.
On Campbellsville's side,  Cameron Estes looked comfortable as he  tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Kace Eastridge was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April.  Kade Somerville was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  run.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glasgow will take on Butler County at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Campbellsville, they will host Larue County  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
