Big Game from Cummins As Neah Bay Won 68-16
Starting off the list is Neah Bay's Caleb Cummins, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cummins rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Those 184 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
The win (which was Neah Bay's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Cummins and Neah Bay will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lummi at 5:00 p.m.

Jodell Wimberly Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Neah Bay was led to victory by Jodell Wimberly, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Wimberly rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 53 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (110.4) per game. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2023.
Wimberly might have his next game, a home matchup with Lummi, circled on his calendar. Wimberly rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Blackhawks duked it out back in October of 2023.

Mason Iverson Delivers Best Performance of Season
Mason Iverson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Quilcene to the win on Saturday. Iverson rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run.
The victory was the third in a row for Quilcene, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Iverson's next match is against Darrington on Saturday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Perez-Lopez Came Up Big in Quilcene's 51-16 Win
Keeping Iverson company is Andrew Perez-Lopez, a fellow Quilcene player. He rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 38 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending a pass.
Perez-Lopez might have his next game, a road matchup with Darrington, circled on his calendar. Perez-Lopez rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry the last time he and the Loggers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Ellis Posts Huge Game in 68-16 Win
Adan Ellis put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Saturday. He picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 50 yards.
Crescent had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Ellis it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Ellis saw the Loggers), he picked up 44 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
