Knox is 0-3 against Jimtown since April of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Redskins are taking a road trip to square off against the Jimmies at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Wednesday, Knox got the win against Argos by a conclusive 11-3. The Redskins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by eight runs or more this season.

Cheryl Barnes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Knox got a massive performance out of Addison Sponaugle, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Sarah Fort, who went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI.
Knox was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They are 4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jimtown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on Glenn with a sharp 13-3 win on Tuesday.
Lilly Gaugler was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Skyler Pello, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Kendal McPhee was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four runs, one double, and one RBI.
The victory made it two in a row for Knox and bumps their season record up to 5-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Jimtown, their record is now 5-6.
