Baseball Recap: Arapahoe Gets the Win

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Arapahoe and Eaglecrest have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Warriors walked away with a 6-1 win over the Raptors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-2 on Thursday.

Carter Landen was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brady Syers, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Arapahoe's record now sits at 14-8. As for Eaglecrest, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Arapahoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eaglecrest, they will challenge Chaparral at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Raptors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
