Galena was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to second in Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee. Earlier in the week, the Bulldogs defeated Baxter Springs 47-6.
St. Mary's-Colgan took down Erie 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Riverton's dynamic duo of Chandler Underhill and Landon North proved tough for Frontenac to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Underhill threw for 71 yards and North had 69 yards receiving. Jacob Qualls helped Riverton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 47 yards.
The Rams' dynamic duo of Underhill and North proved to be unstoppable against the Raiders, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Chasson Ipock made the biggest impact on defense this week as Galena defeated the Lions. The 5-foot-8 junior.
Dalton Weaver was a passing and rushing force as Riverton lost to Frontenac. He completed 5 passes for 75 yards and also ran for 48 yards.
Gabe Helton was the best running back in the league this week. In 15 carries, he ran for 111 yards as Beau Sarwinski's team lost to Mark Smith's team. Teammate Logan Johnson added to the ground attack by rushing for 76 yards.
Underhill put up the best numbers through the air as the Rams fell to the Raiders.
North was the best receiver in the league this week as Riverton lost to Frontenac.
On the heels of Kyler Cook and Helton, the Bulldogs have had great success on offense. Cook is tops in the league in passing with 117 yards, while Helton has rushed for 111 yards this season. The Rams' North leads the league in receiving yards with 69 on 4 catches.
The Raiders are in third place, while Southeast is in fifth place.
Frontenac and Riverton played the most contested game in Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee this week, with Frontenac eventually emerging with a 27-21 victory.
