After a string of three wins, the St. Francis Sharks's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Pacific Grove by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for St. Francis seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2023.
St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 10-4-1. As for Pacific Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6-1.
St. Francis will be playing at home against Anzar at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Francis is coming into the contest with eight straight defeats at home, meaning Anzar will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. Pacific Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
