St. Augustine Catholic is 0-5 against Benson since April of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Wolves will face off against the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. St. Augustine Catholic knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Benson likes a good challenge.
On Monday, St. Augustine Catholic got the win against Palo Verde by a conclusive 16-1. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won eight in a row.

Benson never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Pima on Monday. They came out on top against the Roughriders by a score of 13-8. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bobcats' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Alyana Bosley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). Bosley was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with three RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Maddison Ogilvie was excellent, going 1-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Aubry Garner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
St. Augustine Catholic's record is now 7-5. As for Benson, their record now sits at 5-12.
St. Augustine Catholic suffered a grim 14-2 defeat to Benson in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
