Orangeburg Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.
When it comes to explaining why Northside Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Riah Beckwith. Despite the final result, she scored eight points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Northside Christian Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Orangeburg Prep pushed their record up to 15-0 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Northside Christian Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.
Orangeburg Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against the War Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Colleton Prep Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Indians are ranked 19th). Northside Christian Academy is on the road again on Thursday and plays the Stallions at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st. Horse Creek Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
