The Skutt Catholic SkyHawks are taking a road trip to  face off against the Grand Island Islanders  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Tuesday, Skutt Catholic had just enough and edged out South Sioux City  3-2.
Meanwhile, Grand Island gave up the first  goal on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them  down. Everything went their way against Fremont as Grand Island made off with  a  4-1 win. The score was close at halftime, but Grand Island pulled away in the second half with four  goals.
They hit Fremont with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Kevin Sanchez (2),  Xelim Vicente,  and  Pedro Ventura.
 The  victory was  the third in a row for Grand Island, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 14  goals over those three  contests. As for Skutt Catholic, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Skutt Catholic was able to grind out a solid  victory over Grand Island when the teams last played  back in March of 2024, winning  3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Skutt Catholic since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
