Pope John Paul II barely beat Norristown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Pope John Paul II never let Norristown get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Saturday. Considering Pope John Paul II has won eight games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Luke Sandor looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on AJ Diaddezio, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Tyler Timdall, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Pope John Paul II kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Norristown didn't got any hits.

Pope John Paul II has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Norristown, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.
